Chalet Heidi uses both "Ingrid Salvenmoser Ski
Schule" and "Scheffau Ski Schule". Both ski schools operate
from Scheffau, and both have English speaking instructors.
Skischule
Salvenmoser is run by Ingrid Salvenmoser, an ex member of the Austrian
team and Olympic bronze medallist!! Guests may well consider
Ingrid if they require all-day
adult lessonssoror boarding lessons. Guests may have Elena, Chalet Heidi employeeChalet Heidi employee as their instructor!!
Ingrid also offers half-day children's lessons. Morning lessons with
Ingrid begin at 10am, but everyone meets up at the meeting place near
the bottom of the main gondola at 9.30am on the first day (normally
Sunday) for a grading and then at 9.45am. Morning lessons finish
at 12.30. Afternoon lessons begin at 1.30pm and finish at 3pm.

Told, a highly qualified instructor himself, has run the Scheffau Ski
School for
30 years! Also, your instructor may be Toni Aschenwald, the original
owner, and builder, of Chalet Heidi! The Kinder Schule has a
particularly good reputation, for which it has won national awards, see
www.kinderkaiserland.com. Scheffau Ski
School lessons begin at the top of the Brandstadl gondola. Morning
lessons are 10am to 12. Afternoon lessons are 1.30pm to 3.30pm.
On the first day (normally Monday for experienced skiers) there will be
a grading at 9.30am. Scheffau Ski School has an office in the
village, where Maria (who speaks perfect English) can see to your ski
school needs and another at the top of the gondola.
